Patch Notes Version 1.3.3

08 October 2023

General Changes

  • Added an option for administrators to update the Guild Siege configuration while the servers are running, allowing us to start special Guild Sieges.
  • The following categories have been added to the Record Book:
    • TDM Score
    • EBG Score
    • Siege Score
  • The following changes have been applied to the Guild Siege schedule:
    • Tuesday: 21:00 -> 15:00.

PvP Balance Updates

  • Elementor / Arcanist
    • The changes we've applied to Arcanist definitely helped with lowering the amount of projectiles flying around, and the overall pressure a projectile team can apply in Guild Siege. However, while Arcanist's damage is fine, it still applies more pressure than we would like it to, while staying relatively risk-free due to Thunderstorm's defensive abilities and its fast casting speed. We're remedying this by increasing Charged Needle's cooldown and updating Thunderstorm's motion to a slower one.
    • Charged Needle: Cooldown increased from 5 to 8 seconds.
    • Thunderstorm: Casting animation updated to eFlyFF's EVA Storm animation.

Emerald Battlegrounds Changes

  • Recent changes have introduced some odd strategies in Battlegrounds, We want to encourage people to fight each other so we're making some changes!
  • You no longer gain points from standing near Team Crystals to deduct their health (their negative effect when destroyed remains the same)
  • Reduced the RC cap from 250 to 200.
  • Reduced the point cap of giants from 100 to 75.
  • Increased the amount of points a Team Statue gives by 20%.
  • Reduced the health of Team Statues by about 17% to make them easier to attack.
  • These changes combined aim to make the gameplay a bit more centered around aiming for the Global & Team Statues first and keeping Giants as a good alternative for smaller groups or after the statues are defeated.

Bug Fixes

  • Potentially corrected an issue slowing down logins when a lot of players tried to connect at once.
  • Potentially corrected an issue causing memory issues within the client upon receiving a packet in very rare cases.
    • This would cause the client to crash at a random point in time after this happened, when trying to access said memory.
  • Potentially corrected an issue where monsters' Enrage value would go out of intended bounds, which could cause multiple issues.
