Undead Uprising Event

General Changes

  • Improved the accuracy of the server-sided projectile algorithm.
  • Improved the accuracy of client-sided movement predictions.
  • The FPS Cap setting for "Uncapped" has been replaced with "Wait for V-Sync", and is now selected by default for new client installs.
  • Further updated Post-Processing effects in order to improve their performance on lower-end PCs.
  • The "Dungeon Hunt" event is over.
    • Please note that the crafting recipes are still available and will remain available.

Balance Changes

  • All classes:
    • [PvP] Damage dealt has been reduced by around 8% in order to decrease TTK in PvP (excluding Battlegrounds). The Attack Modifier updates listed in the following bullet points are the ones that are different from this global nerf.
  • Mentalist:
    • While we do want Mentalist to have a variety of skills to choose from in order to kill other players, we also do not wish for them to just run a full INT build in order to kill players quickly from a range using the first tick of their DoT ability. As such, we've transfered part of its damage to the DoT portion, since Mentalist has several ways to force enemies to use Scrolls of Holy. In order for it not to affect PvE balance, we've adjusted it as well, which should be transparent in DPS. Additionally, Mentalist benefitting from two roots makes it much more of a support than we want it to be. As such, we're attempting a Demonology rework in order to make the class more interactive.
    • Mind Eater: Damage per tick increased from 10% to 12% of original damage.
    • Demonology: No longer roots the enemy. Instead, reduces their Speed by 10%, and increases the speed of all Basic Attack projectiles following them by 50%.
    • Mind Eater: [PvE] Attack Modifier decreased from 0.88 to 0.78.
    • Mind Eater: [PvP] Attack Modifier decreased from 0.71 to 0.56.
  • Ringmaster / Seraph:
    • Holy Cross being AoE turned out to be more of a PvP balance issue than we expected it to be, while not being too used in PvE outside of AoE farming. As such, we're removing this and compensating Ringmaster with buffs in other fields.
    • Holy Cross: AoE removed.
    • Holy Fire: Cooldown decreased from 12 seconds to 10 seconds.
    • Divine Implosion: [PvE] Attack Modifier increased from 0.66 to 0.72.
  • Elementor / Arcanist
    • We're monitoring the power of Arcanist and their combos. While they don't seem out of line just yet, Thunderstorm is currently stronger than we intend for it to be, so we're nerfing it a little. Charged Needle currently seems in line with our expectations, however we will be monitoring it over the next few days now that the global damage nerf has been applied.
    • Thunderstorm: [PvP] Attack Modifier decreased from 0.86 to 0.74.

Bug Fixes

  • Corrected an issue where the Wardrobe's weapon type wasn't correctly used for generating Weapon Auras.
