Patch Notes Version 2.1.3

30 November 2023

General Changes

  • The Team-Based PvP window has been removed from the game.
  • The Mini-Games window has been renamed to "Competitive Activities".
    • Please note it now includes the activities that were previously present in Team-Based PvP. This includes:
      • Emerald Battlegrounds
      • Survival of the Fittest
      • Team Deathmatch
  • The Competitive Activities window and application process have been updated.
    • It is now possible to register to Competitive Activities in advance, a few seconds after the previous occurence is over.
    • It is now possible to consult, and register for multiple Competitive Activities at once.
  • The Competitive Activities overlay has been updated in order to present information in a more organized way.
  • An in-game notification will now be sent 5 minutes before any Competitive Activity begins.
    • The Discord notification will now also be sent at this point in time. Additionally, our Discord notification roles have been updated to fit the above changes. Make sure to update them!
  • The Competitive Activity window will now appear once a Competitive Activity the player has signed up for begins. If it is already open, it will automatically refresh its data.
  • Yggdrasil Equipment (Armor, Jewellery, and Weapons) can now drop directly from their respective dungeons.

PvP Balance Changes

  • As some players get closer to the new endgame tier of equipment, some expected slight disparities between the strength of Basic Attacks and Skills have been noticed, making Basic Attacks stronger than they are intended to be. We believe now is the right time to apply the necessary changes to correct this, and are doing so.
  • The range updates from patch v2.1.0 were mostly well received and seem to have been improving the PvP experience across the board. However, some ranged classes seem to struggle a little bit due to some of their skills being balanced around their previous range. We are giving these classes a little bit of additional power, in order to not leave them in the dirt. Additionally, we are gonna keep monitoring this change to make sure these classes retain the power they deserve.
  • Blade / Slayer:
    • Basic Attacks: Attack Modifier decreased from 0.78 to 0.76.
  • Knight / Templar:
    • Basic Attacks: Attack Modifier decreased from 0.59 to 0.57.
  • Ranger / Crackshooter:
    • Basic Attacks: Attack Modifier decreased from 0.47 to 0.46.
    • Apex Shot: Attack Modifier increased from 0.86 to 0.89.
  • Ringmaster / Seraph:
    • Basic Attacks: Attack Modifier decreased from 0.5 to 0.49.
    • Star Call: Base Damage increased from 430 to 510.
  • Billposter / Force Master:
    • While Force Master is in a way better place now than ever, their max Asalraalaikum damage has been slightly affected by the new equipment, making it harder than intended to kill with the skill. We are bringing back its power to where it was intended to be.
    • Asalraalaikum: Attack Modifier increased from 1.51 to 1.56.
  • Psykeeper / Mentalist
    • Basic Attacks: Attack Modifier decreased from 0.68 to 0.67.
